Charles Daiker

GRAFTON-  Charles William "Bill" Daiker, 55, died at 9:33 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Willow Rose Rehab & Health Care from complications of lung cancer.He was born in Jerseyville on Sept. 4,1959, one of seven children born to the late Raymond & Pauline Lela (Lott) Daiker.Bill graduated in 1978 from Jersey Community High School, and had been employed in the construction trades for most of his life.Surviving are his son & his wife, Raymond William & Carmen Daiker II of White Hall; five grandchildren, Raymond III, Charley, and triplets, Wesley, Presley & Paisley Daiker; a brother, Richard Daiker of Jerseyville;  five sisters, Sharlene Kallal of Jerseyville, Kathy Daiker of Elsah, Freda Kuper of TerreHaute, In., Patti Saettle of Jerseyville, and Marie Murrell of Wood River.Visitation will be from 9 a.m., Monday until time of funeral services at  11 a.m., at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, with his nephew, Rev. Brad Potter officiating.Burial will be in the Grimes-Neeley Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the Grimes-Neeley Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
