John “Little Buck” W. Camplain

John “Little Buck” W. Camplain, 71, passed away April 11, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Chana, IL, the son of Willis and Margaret (Black) Camplain.
John married Judy A. Thompson on September 21, 1963 in Oregon, IL.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was an electrical lineman for Southwestern Electric for 32 years, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Steve Holmes and Beth and Josh Sonneborn; three grandchildren, Curt, Cody, and Lexi; two great grandchildren, Graysen and Luca; four sisters, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
A celebration of life will be from 1 to 5 pm Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Crystal Ballroom in Staunton.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
