Karen L. Signorino, 66, of East Alton, IL, died at 2:50 p.m. Thurs. Dec. 11, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born Dec. 17, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Wilma “Hope” (Morgan) Kasiewicz.
On Oct. 23, 1998 she and Ross J. Signorino were married in Edwardsville, IL. He survives in East Alton.
Karen had been a legal secretary with Thompson Coburn Law Firm in St. Louis. She was also a volunteer with Stray Rescue in St. Louis and participated in the Patriot Guard with her husband, Ross.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: a son, Denny (Kim) Doerr, a daughter, Misty (Dave) Koshinski, of Bethalto, 2 step-sons, Michael (Debbie) Signorino of Wood River, IL and Shane (Jenny) Signorino of St. Louis, 6 grandchildren, Kyle Arakaki, Kea (Paul) Baker, Tory (Mary) Doerr, Whitley Koshinski, David Koshinski & Jeremy Signorino, a great-grandchild, Kadin Thompson and 2 sisters, Norma (Leo) Spano of Wood River and Janet (Steve) Wilbur of NY.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her dad, Richard W. “Bill” Hughart and a sister, Judy West.
Memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sat. Dec. 20, 2014 at Paynic Home for Funerals.
