Laura Louise Kelley Lannom, 49, passed into the arms of Jesus Friday, January 8, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Chester. She was born Oct. 17, 1960 in Wood River to Paul A. and Mary E. (Smith) Kelley of Wood River.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gary Phipps of Chester; her sisters, Marilyn (Tom) Jaco of Wood River, Pat (Bud) Gates of Granite City, and Karen Herrin of Godfrey; her brother, Glen (Mary) Kelley; 9 nieces and nephews; and 22 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Pearl Kelley and Ernest and Mary Smith; and a brother-in-law, Terry Herrin.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 10 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights from 2 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
