Marcus “Marc” C. Rose, 28, passed away, at 6:36 p.m. in Alton.
He was born January 6, 1989, in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Michael and Marsha (Logsdon) Carmack.
Marc had a “hippie spirit”; he enjoyed walking barefoot, singing, playing the guitar, being in the wilderness, and running the Kios. He had a thing for cowboy boots, cats, doing hair and make-up, and a love for decorating things. He had the kindest heart, donating to the homeless shelter, Hippie Hill in Tennessee, and organizing the barefoot walk for Shane. Marc will be missed dearly by his family and friends whom he loved so much. He was a Rock Star!
Survivors include his parents; siblings and their significate others, Brittani “Britney” Rose (Tsynomon English) of Alton, Courtney “Courteny” Rose (Andre Darden) of Alton, Justin Rose of Cave in Rock, IL, Jeff Rose of Cave in Rock, IL, Michelle Buehler of Louisiana, Tara McQueen of Belleville, Nikki McQueen of Aurora, Brandi and Terry Ross of Belleville, Tiffany Carmack (Richard Demond) of O’Fallon, IL, Alexis Grace Carmack of Belleville, Michael Carmack, Jr. of Pontoon Beach, Shawn and Tara Graves of Belleville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his birth father, Richard Rose; nephew, Zane Bishop Monroe; aunts, Connie “C-Mac” McHenry and Hilda “Ho Ho” Hamilton; and grandmothers, Louretta Ozee and Pansy Covey.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Marc will be laid to rest at a later date, with his nephew, Zane Monroe.
Memorials may be made to Hippie Hill in Tennessee or The Salvation Army Booth House.
