Max H. Ragan, 85, of Cottage Hills, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born on February 24, 1935 in Buchanan, Georgia, the son of Culman and Floy Ragan.
Max is a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his children, Kenny (Debbie) Ragan of Cottage Hills, and Tommi Ragan of East Alton; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Ragan; and a sister, Vivian “Shorty” Phillips.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is in charge of arrangements.
