Richard A. Kincaid, 76, passed away7:18 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Louisville, IL on July 28, 1939, he was the son of Walter and Betty (Higgins) Kincaid.
He had been a self-employed machinist and welder, operating Kincaid Welding Service before retiring.
On march 6, 2009 in Edwardsville, he married Darlene Piper. She survives.
Surviving also are a son, Goah Piper of Wood River; daughter, Rickie Kincaid of Meadowbrook; granddaughter, Mia Grissom; brother, Kenny Kincaid of Bunker Hill; and two sisters, Brenda Emmons of Godfrey and Sharon Kincaid of Edwardsville.
Preceding in dath were his parents and step-mother, Edith Kincaid.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. at the Old Union Cemetery near Bible Grove, IL. Rev. Richard Newcom will officiate.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hosptial.
