Scott T. VanAllman, 49, died unexpectedly at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in Alton. Born February 7, 1960 in Alton, he was the son of Don T. and Eileen (McClintock) VanAllman of Alton.
He loved bowling, classic cars, comic books, and building models.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Steven VanAllman of Alton and Samuel VanAllman of Alton, three sisters, Linda Minor and her husband Steven of Dow, Lisa Scoggins and her husband Kerry of Rosewood Heights, and Lora VanAllman and her fiancé Jay Meckles of Godfrey, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Kay VanAllman.
There will be a private memorial service and private burial. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 10803 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63141. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
